How Andre Charts Scaling and Root Planning in Eaglesoft
Can you please show me how to do your Custom Draw Type for scaling and root planing in the chart?
Start by going to the Virtual Operatory Screen.
Go to List>Draw Types.
Find the “Bone Graft” Draw Type and Edit it. You will get a Warning message that says “Only custom draw types can be edited. Do you wish to create a new custom type based on this system type?” Click Yes.
You can use the Eraser tool set to its smallest setting to “stripe through” the top red drawing of #1-8 and the lower red drawing of #25-32 and completely erase the lower red drawing of #1-8 and the upper red drawing of #25-32 (see picture). This will differentiate a Bone Graft drawing from your SRP drawing.
Update the Description to “(Custom) SRP”. And Save the new Draw Type.
Go to List>Service Code (or Services from the Clinical view)>Find your D4341>Edit the Service Code>On the right side click Chart Setup>In the Draw Type field select your new (Custom) SRP Draw Type. Repeat for D4342.
All of your Patients with SRP will update will have this drawing in their charts.
As part of my Eaglesoft Clinical Master a Custom Version is installed that looks like the picture below. The green lines represent Proposed SRP (left is full quad and sight specific on the upper right).
