Hey Andre! Could I Have A “Waiting for Verification” Stage Of An Employer In Eaglesoft?

I have had several practices ask; “I know I can have a ‘No Insurance on file’ Intellicare. I know that a Custom Intellicare can be made for particular insurance companies. What I really want is an indicator that shows that this person HAS insurance, but we have NOT verified coverage or benefits at THIS point.  How can I see that on my schedule?”

Well, the only way I have come up with is to create an Employer called “.Waiting for Verification” (the “.” Before the name puts the Employer at the TOP of the Employer list for easy retrieval) connected to an Insurance Called "WAITING TO VERIFY".  Then to have a Custom Intellicare connected to that Employer / Insurance Company. Then when benefits are verified, the Employer for that Patient is changed to the correct Employer.

Example:

  • Patient calls and says I work for Conseco Construction.

  • No idea of Group or anything else. Connect them to Employer “Waiting for Verification”.

This Employer/Insurance is connected to a Custom Intellicare:

That then puts the icon on the schedule
