How Andre Reschedules a Patient Appointment in Eaglesoft
Rescheduling an Appointment is a simple process but there are multiple ways of doing it.
Imagine that a Patient calls and they have an appointment on June 1st and the want to move it to June 10th. Simple, right? You can:
Option 1:
- Go to June 1st and Right Click on the Appointment and select Move This Appointment.
- Go to June 15th and Right Click when you want to move this Appointment and select Paste from Moved Appointments, find the appointment in the list, and select it. This will move the selected appointment to the new appointment time slot.
- The original time slot on June 1st will now be open and available.
Option 2:
- Go to June 1st and Left Click hold on the Appointment and “drag” the Appointment to the left edge of the screen. This will open the Appointment Queue (if it’s not already open). You can then “drop” the appointment into the Appointment Queue
- Go to June 15th and find where you want to move this Appointment.
- Select the “moved” Appointment from Appointment Queue. Drag the selected appointment to the new appointment time slot.
- The original time slot on June 1st will now be open and available.
There is a third option available that is a little trickier.
Option 3:
If the EXACT time and Chair (“Column”) is available on June 15th
- Go to June 1st and Left Click hold on the Appointment and “drag” the Appointment to June 15th on the “Go To” Calendar the left edge of the screen. You can then “drop” the appointment onto June 15th on the calendar and it will appear on June 15th at the same time and in the same chair it was originally on June 1st.
- The original time slot on June 1st will now be open and available.
