Moving Appointments by Mistake? This might help in Eaglesoft.
At least once a day I get a call, text, Facebook Message, etc. saying “My staff keeps moving appointments from one time to another and not realizing it. Can I block them from doing that?” Well, no, you can’t unless you want to block them from scheduling at all. BUT I have found a work around that I’ve used for aa long time that mitigates the issue. Replace your “mouse” with a big, slow, “rat”. What am I talking about? Think about a checkerboard. When most people started using ES years ago, the screens on most computers were 720p and has a square “checkerboard” with 720 squares. Moving your mouse around those squares was forgiving. If you click the lower right square, it was large enough that the pointer always touched it.
On the right side of the same screen, select Adjust Mouse and Cursor Size. Move the change pointer size slider to 2 or 3.
Both of these changes can be “tweaked” to your preferences but, they make a big difference in the “mistakes” made in nudging appointments on the schedule of Eaglesoft. This has to be done at each workstation.
Optional: In the Mouse Setting screen, on the right side, select Additional Mouse Setting and the Pointers tab. Select the Windows Standard Extra Large as your default Windows Cursor. I have found it to be the most accurate.
