How Andre Imports FMX/Pan From Another Office Into Eaglesoft
Is there a way to update FMX or BWX if a patient had them in another office?
Oh yeah!
FIRST, I START ADDING TWO ADMIN SERVICES CODES
A0210 IMAGING - TRANSFERRED FMX FROM PROVIDER
IMAGING - TRANSFERRED PAN FROM PROVIDER.
IMPORTANT FEATURES OF THIS ADMIN SERVICE CODE SET UP ARE:
THE SERVICE CODE IS A0XXX AND BUT THE CORRECT ADA CODE IS USED ON THE ADA CODE LINE.
THE SERVICE CODE USING THE ALLOW FREE FORM DESCRIPTION SO THAT THE DESCRIPTION CAN BE EDITED TO INCLUDE DESCRIPTIONS LIKE IMAGING - TRANSFERRED FMX FROM DR JONES
THE SERVICE CODE ARE SET TO UPDATE PATIENT’S LAST BITEWINGS, FULL MOUTH SERIES AND/OR PANORAMIC.
IMPORTANT: GO TO THE CLINICAL VIEW THEN GO TO LIST>IMAGE TEMPLATES AND EDIT EVERY TEMPLATE YOU USE TO MAKE SURE THE IMAGE TEMPLATE DO NOT UPDATE FMX, PAN OR BWS. YOU WANT THE SERVICE
ON THE PATIENT’S FIRST VISIT, I RECOMMEND POSTING ONE OF THE ADMIN SERVICE CODES FOR THE FMX OR PAN RECEIVED.
You should also edit the code during Walkout and change the Date of Service to the date that the FMX/Pan was taken by the other office.
NOW THE LAST FMX/PAN DATE SHOWS CORRECTLY IN THE ACCOUNT SCREEN (TOP) AND THE CLINICAL CHART (BOTTOM RIGHT).
I also include these Admin Service Codes in the Review Imaging: FMX or Pan Intellicares so that these codes update the 36- or 60-months clinical guidelines the office prefers.
There “is” a second option, Log out. Log back in using the date of the Image and import it into Imaging. Once you do, you can right click on the mount and select Update Last [image type] (see pic)
